We went through a Winnie the Pooh phase and borrowed every movie we could find. One of the favorites was "Piglet's Big Movie" in which Piglet makes a scrapbook and his friends break the book and go chasing after the pages while calling them "Piglet's memories".
So yesterday, the girls found a stack of post-it notes and proceeded to take them apart and draw on each one. Some pages have a little picture, some have a few random letters and most look like hurried scribbles. They presented them to me with great excitement, "look mommy, our mem'ries!" and then carried them around for the rest of the day. Sometimes they would intentionally drop a few pages and chase after them, "come back mem'ries!" or show them to other people, "my beautiful mem'ries!"
Who knew post-it notes could be so fun.
