For the past few weeks, Ladybug has talked about a certain friend. But it's taken me awhile to figure out who it is since she doesn't have a name. Plus, Ladybug talks about her in the same way she says a lot of things, short little blurbs, tossed over her shoulder and then she's onto something else before I can process what she said. I assumed she was another imaginary friend. (After all, this is the kid who has a friend that is a penguin that wears a green necklace.) This particular friend likes to play outside but can't come in the house. Sometimes she's big and sometimes she's small and sometimes Ladybug can't find her. And once, she got stolen by Auntie R who gave her to Peter Pan. Any guesses? It's her shadow. And they have marvelous adventures together, talking and singing together on the swings or riding scooters.
Lovely's new favorite friend is her reflection. She smiles and grins at her, and insists on giving her knuckles each morning. She is so adorable!
