my happy today was bedtime. Especially when Husband is out of town, bedtime can get...unpleasant. But tonight we went on a Popsicle walk, got ready for bed with minimal reminders or complaining, did all our reading, happy n sads and prayers without me questioning my sanity. They were all sound asleep before 9:30. hurray!
my sad today was that lunchtime was significantly less fun. We made it through soccer, errands, the library and school lunch. But the kids (mostly E) were grumpy and had to be asked and coerced multiple times. E and A already had three strikes each losing a dessert for tonight and even Z was super fussy. I was irritable and needed quiet time time just as much as they did!
