Butterfly: "shh, my secret spy name is Daisy."
Me: "your shoes are on the wrong feet."
Ladybug looks solemnly at me, looks at her feet and looks at me again. Then she bursts into a run (in place), "it helps me run better!"
Butterfly: "you're the bestest mom ever." (this is after I let her eat cereal for dinner.)
After another failed lesson of learning our colors by eating m&ms, Ladybug began tossing all of the baby blankets in various directions while naming them by random (and incorrect) colors. oh, and she has now claimed the matching burp cloths as her "panda baby" and "yellow baby".
i think it time we had a ladybug picnic with butterflies abound!
