10-20 family play date

My happy today was spending so much time with family.  I taught a pilates class in the morning and by the time I got home, my brother was parked in my driveway.  The kids piled out to play and were immediately off to a great start of talking, laughing and just hanging out.  The kids dove into the toy room and the legos and played so well together.  I was nervous about teaching power that evening and needed to practice so I had all the kids grab a stuffed animal and I did a mock class with them using our stuffed animals as our weights.  My oldest brother and his family arrived just in time for a late lunch and the kids had a great picnic of the trampoline outside.  Soon they headed for the park and I left to teach my evening class.  Class went surprisingly well (I was nervous after being on vacation for two weeks) and I joined them at the park.  Back at the house we decorated sugar cookies, devoured pizza, settled in for a movie and finished off the night with fudgesicles.  All in all, a pretty perfect day with lots of family.

My sad was E fell at the park and landed on her face.  Her nose and upper lip are swollen and bruised, her speech slightly affected and the inside of her top lip looks like hamburger.  Luckily shes a pretty tough kid.  (I took her to the doc the next day just to be safe.  Badly bruised but not broken.)
