Butterfly's school registration arrived so we spent an afternoon together reading it. First I showed her the envelope and pointed to the letters so she could identify them and recognize her name. She was pretty ecstatic when she realized the letter was addressed to her. We read the welcome letter from her teacher and then filled out the "all about me" sheet that was enclosed. I was so impressed and proud of her as she answered all of the questions herself, without prompting, and told me what to write. It included

favorite book: princess stories
favorite food: fish, donuts, pizza, strawberries
favorite movie: Belle, Hercules and Mickey
I really enjoy: watching movies, going to the park
She has also learned to recite her birthday (I'm not sure who taught her because I was shocked the first time I heard her do it) and her phone number! My little girl is getting so big!
